This
deer hunting & breeding preserve with a high fenced area is stocked with
Trophy Whitetail Deer plus
a breeding area. The preserve contains approximately 500 acres of the
most picturesque land in South Central Oklahoma. From the top of Hat Top
Mountain the view,
overlooking the entire area, is breathtaking. The
natural ravines and creek lines afford natural bedding places for the
approximately 24 bucks and several doe & fawns which call it their home.
The preserve has been high-fenced for over three years so that it
qualifies, under Oklahoma Conservation Laws, for year around hunting.
This preserve has its own breeding program which is in the 5th year.
There are a total of eleven high fenced breeding pens and two working
pens, along with a working barn.
For the comfort of the hunters, there is a new hunting lodge on the
shore line of a 9.5 acre bass lake. The lodge has two private bedrooms,
a large bath, living room & kitchen with dining. It is fully furnished
and ready of occupants. The lake and the other smaller ponds all contain
an ample supply of bass and other fish.
The headquarters house is a 2100 sf modular home with is
approximately 8 years old and in very good condition. In addition to the
working barn, there is a 40' x 50' x 14' metal building with a concrete
floor for dry storage. It has an overhead door and is wired for
electricity. The entire site is plumbed for water from the local rural
water district which has a main standpipe just to the east of the ranch.
Heating for the lodge and headquarters house is from Propane.
This beautiful hunting area is only 2.5 hours north of Dallas and
1.5 hours south of Oklahoma City. Access to the site is very good by
paved roads.
